The deposit can be taken as a card hold via Stripe (the amount is blocked on your card without being charged) or in person from the renter (cash, cryptocurrency, valuables). The amount is released automatically after the vehicle is returned if no damage is found during the photo inspection. In case of a dispute, a Maloc administrator arbitrates within 30 days.

Yes, every partner renter undergoes a comprehensive verification process: identity (KYC via Didit.me), professional documents, insurance, and vehicle inspection. Only validated renters appear on the platform. You can view reviews and ratings from other clients.

Registration and browsing the catalogue are 100% free. You only pay the rental price listed in the advert, plus the deposit (fully refunded if no damage occurs). There are no hidden fees, no subscription, and no commission on the client side.

The vehicle inspection is entirely digital. At pick-up and return, both the renter and the client each take 12 photos of the vehicle from precise angles (front, rear, sides, interior, odometer, etc.). The photos are timestamped and geolocated. In case of disagreement, both sets of photos can be compared to resolve disputes objectively.

Every rental automatically includes comprehensive insurance covering up to €250,000 in damages. It covers: material damage, theft, fire, glass breakage and third-party liability. You have nothing to do — coverage is activated from the moment the contract is signed.

Yes, every listing allows you to send a message to the renter via Maloc's built-in messaging system. You can ask questions about the vehicle, rental conditions, pick-up location, etc. The renter receives a notification and usually replies within a few hours.

Visit the 'Become a partner renter' page and submit your application. Basic registration is free (Maloc plan: up to 3 vehicles, 15% commission). Your file is reviewed within 48 hours. Once validated, you gain access to your dedicated CRM to manage your vehicles, contracts and payments.

To rent on Maloc, you must: create an account with your email, complete your profile (name, phone, address, date of birth), verify your email and phone (OTP), then complete KYC identity verification (ID document + selfie via Didit.me). Your driving licence is verified by the renter at check-in.
